Hello! We are Claudia and Dave Soto, the owners of Chihuahua Dream. Between us we have decades of experience breeding, raising and showing superior quality chihuahuas and we are endlessly fascinated by genetics and animal husbandry.
It's a joy and a privilege to own and breed these precious dogs even though it means that we have become hopelessly addicted to puppy breath!
Watching each new family find their dream chihuahua is such a pleasure for us and we never tire of the thanks and praise we get from the many happy families we have shared our babies with.
We provide our chihuahuas with tender, loving care; premium food, treats and supplements; excellent medical care; and lifestyles that make the rich and famous envious ... and we expect our puppies' new families to help them carry on this family tradition of leading pampered lives being lavished with the best of everything - so they are only adopted to carefully screened loving, affectionate people. Our goal is to breed extra pretty chihuahuas who are healthy, happy, loving and will be a joy to live with.
We are members of Better Breeders which is a new group that is trying to improve ethics among dog breeders. We joined this group because we applaud their goal and want to work with them to ensure that not only our puppies but all puppies receive the best treatment possible from all people breeding dogs.
For decades we have sold hundreds of puppies that either we or our friends have raised and we are recommended and referred by our customers, our vets and even other breeders.
We pay taxes, we are real people just like you - and if you cannot visit us in person to verify this, we would be happy to refer you to many people who have.
Visitors are welcome anytime during daylight hours and we encourage you to stop by and meet our puppies. We are located in San Jose, in the San Francisco Bay Area in California.
Afternoons are best because the puppies have had their naps so they will be more active and ready to come out and play with you. Weekends are a great time to stop by and bring the whole family so you can choose your perfect dream chihuahua. Feel free to e-mail or call us to set up an appointment soon!
